The Liberian Association of Austin Texas unites and empowers Liberians through cultural pride, community engagement, and mutual support.
The Liberian Association of Austin Texas (LAAT) was established on March 19, 2005 to serve as the primary civic organization for Liberians and friends of Liberia in Central Texas. From our earliest days, LAAT has been a home away from home β a place where culture is kept alive, voices are heard, and families are supported.
We believe that a strong community is built on unity, transparency, and shared purpose. Through advocacy, outreach, cultural programs, and welfare services, LAAT continues to build a foundation for generations to come.
